How It Works
If you are interested in meeting our foster cats, fill out an application to be pre-approved by 9 Lives Rescue. When your application is approved, you can arrange a meeting at our house or at a weekend adoption fair. If you make a good match, you can adopt and take them home on the day you meet them!
Before being listed for adoption, every 9 Lives Rescue kitten or cat has received a thorough medical exam and given any needed treatment. Every cat is spayed or neutered and is up to date on vaccines. Each adoptable cat is listed on the website with a ‘biography’ so you can learn about their personality and preferences.
It is almost always better for kittens under six months to be adopted with another kitten, or into a home that has a receptive cat. They entertain and socialize one another, and keep each other company when you are away. Not sure? The Carpenter Family
The Carpenter Family joined us in October 2024
We don’t know that much about mama Makita‘s life before she came to us. We think she is between one and two years old. Her kittens, Craftsman, DeWalt, Husqvarna, Milwaukee, and Bosch, were born in September.
(We are adopting Makita’s older tortie kitten Ryobi, as a playmate to our little Willow. She is a wonderful big sister!) Makita, Craftsman, Husqvarna, Dewalt, Bosch, and Milwaukee have also been adopted.
