Download Transana Transana is no longer free. Because of our current level of funding, we are no longer able to distribute Transana for free. It costs more to develop, support, and distribute Transana than we have been able to bring in through grants and contracts. We had to choose between charging for the program or curtailing active development. The developers feel there is still too much important work to be done on Transana to move on to other projects at this time, so we're asking Transana users to help us fund ongoing development of the program. The single-user version of Transana costs $50 per user / computer. (Two users sharing one computer only need one copy. Two users on two computers need two copies.) The multi-user version of Transana costs $500 per project, regardless of the number of users. If you are interested in installing Transana in a computer lab for student access, please e-mail me with information about the number of labs and the number of computers in each lab. Educational institutions located in Wisconsin and state and local governmental bodies in Wisconsin are eligible for a discounted price.
